Privacy Policy

This policy describes which personal data we process on shop.sds-print.com and what we use it for.

1. Controller

2. Server Log Data

Every time this website is accessed we automatically collect technical data (IP address, browser type, operating system, page requested, referrer, date/time). This log data is used solely to keep the website secure and stable and is not combined with any other data source.

3. Cookies

This website uses only strictly necessary cookies (login session, shopping cart contents, language preference, security token). We do not use Google Analytics, social-media or marketing cookies, which is why no cookie-consent banner is shown.

4. Account and Order Data

When you create a customer account or place an order, we process your name, company, billing and delivery address, e-mail address, phone number, VAT ID (if provided), and your order/invoice history, in order to fulfil your order and manage your account and your individual pricing terms. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

5. Shipping

To deliver your order we share your name, delivery address and phone number with our shipping partner (FedEx), solely for the purpose of generating shipping labels and completing delivery.

6. Payment

Orders are invoiced on account or paid by bank transfer. We do not process or store any payment card data on this website.

7. Retention

Commercial and invoicing records are kept for the statutory retention periods required under German/Swiss commercial and tax law (generally 10 years). Server log data is kept only briefly for security purposes.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
